A new budget

A new budget
We have a new budget for 2006.   The government will spend over $2.5 trillion dollars. They will confiscate nearly $2.2 trillion in taxes.   They plan to spend $390 billion more than they make.  That deficit will be 3% of GDP for this year.  Over 60% of the budget is spent on socialist programs.  No way you can argue we are not a socialist country.  It is taking from one to give to another – legal theft.   When you look at the numbers it is amazing what a low percentage goes to military and defense.  Social Security and Medicare are continuing to ruin the country.

  1. Social Security is killing AMERICA! I truly love how even Millionaires collect their social security. They don't need the money, they just take it becuase they can. I think if we are going to be socialists we should have a real socialist system. For example, taking money from my family now to pay for John Retiree who had his money taken to pay Steve retiree is ridiculous; especially if John Retiree is now a millionaire. We should just have a law where John Retiree can opt out and "give" his money to the other socialists who need it.

    I also think we should just have open pharmacies where people can jsut walk in and take a bunch of pills they don't need. If we are lucky maybe a few will die. Oh wait, I just described Medicare.

    I really like the idea of paying for 10 year infastructure with 15 and 30 year bonds too. That way we can never get out of debt, taxes can double and our children can pay for what we did when they were two.

    America = Socialism.

    Mandatory Insurance is just the sharing of high costs for what could be a few people across the entirety of our population. So even if I never have a car wreck or claim on my homeowners insurance throughout my roughly 45 years of paying those two insurance fees I will have socialized almost $100,000.00 of my dollars. About 30% of which went into the coffers of someone really wealthy who "skimmed the pot" and about 15% of which went towards the administering of the system.
